Mary (Ray) Sistare

Mary Margaret Elizabeth Ray Sistare, 89 of Katherine Avenue, Kings Mountain, NC  passed away Sunday October 9, 2016 at home.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., Clover, SC with the Rev. Eddie Gray officiating.  Interment will be in Oakdale Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.

Mrs. Sistare was born December 18, 1926 in Cherokee County, SC to the late Manning and Eliza Dover Ray.  She was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Goforth Sistare, daughter, Margaret Connie Sizemore, great grandson Mark Evan Sizemore, sister, Ruth Ray Gann, and brothers William Wray, Ervin Ray, and James Wray.

Survivors are her daughter Jill Sistare of Kings Mountain, NC; son-in-law Jeff Sizemore of Kings Mountain, NC; grandchildren Jeff Sizemore, Jr. (Melissa) of Gaffney, SC, Brian Sizemore of Kings Mountain, NC, Mark Sizemore (Christina) of Blacksburg, SC; and six great grandchildren.
