Maude Rebecca (Black) Crawford

Maude Rebecca Black Crawford, of Clover, SC died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at home.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Wilkes officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Clover, SC.

Mrs. Crawford was born September 11, 1938 in Chester County, SC to the late Samuel F. and Rosanna Canupp Black.  She was the widow of Thomas A. Crawford and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors are her daughter Rebecca Lee Crawford Pinkston of Johnson City, TN; sons Thomas A. Crawford, Jr. and James Leslie Crawford, both of Clover, SC; sisters Mary Robinson, Rosanna Hope, & Margaret Black all of York, SC, Lilly Meek of Simpsonville, SC; brothers Butler Black of Dallas, NC and Robert Black of York, SC; four grandchildren Emily Wescott, T. C. McCarter, Patrick McCarter, Virginia Crawford; two great grandchildren; three step grandchildren Jessica Kanbar, Mark Elrod, Patrick Pinkston; and ten step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister Emma Robinson, and brothers, Fewell Black, Jess Black, Ben Black, Will Black, and Sam Black.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 124 Bethel Street, Clover, SC  29710.
