Nathan Andrew Long

Nathan Andrew Long, age 38, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Lake Wylie, SC.  Nate is survived by his wife of 14 years, Erika; his children, Holden and Ainsley; his parents, Larry and Jean Long; his sisters, Dianna and Becca; and his nieces and nephews. 

He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and earned his MBA from Arizona State University.  Nate was the CEO of East Emporia Company based in Saltillo, Mexico. 

 Nate was a loving father and devoted husband.  He enjoyed playing baseball and sharing his love of sports with his children.  Nate is a published author of the book “A Diary of Love Letters”.  He was very adventurous and charismatic and made friends with everyone he met.  Nate will always be remembered for his generous, caring, and uplifting personality. 

 A private service will be held on Thursday, February 16th followed by a celebration of his life with friends and family to be held at T-Bones on the Lake in Lake Wylie, SC.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Ainsley and Holden.  Donations can be sent to their home at 725 Virginia Pine Lane in Lake Wylie, SC.
