Ruth Humphries

Ruth Humphries, 89 of Clover, SC passed away April 19, 2016 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC with the Rev. Michael Coe officiating.  Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Clover, SC.

Miss Humphries was born July 7, 1926 in Gastonia, NC to the late Guy and Felcie Cleo Martin Humphries.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Humphries and William Quinn.

Survivors are her daughters Willie Mae Plemmons (Kenneth) & Nancy May both of Clover, SC, Ruby Lee Madden (Wayne) of York, SC, Kathy Finley of Chesney,SC, Tracy Howard (James) of Waxhaw, NC; sisters Faye Kimbell of York, SC, Dorothy Thomas of Chester, SC , Guynelle Flynn of Greer, SC; nineteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
