Barbara and Girls and families,
We were so sad to read of Clyde's passing. We had been out of town for the week and had to catch up on news. I remember spending some times with you both, and when my Lauren stayed with you as a preschooler. My prayers are with you as you mourn and heal.
God Bless,

I was discouraged to learn of the great loss in your family's life, but will always be encouraged by the brave and Godly manner that he lived out his life here on earth. Mr. Polson and the entire Polson family will always hold a special place in my heart. I have very fond memories of the occasional time spent over Thanksgiving holidays.

We were good friends of Clyde for the many years he worked in the city. Remember him for his always happy disposition and willingness to help out in any situation. He was sort of a one-of-a-kind person, with a unique sense of humor, who will be remembered fondly.
Fond remembrances to Keri and Shannon.

Clyde and I were in the youth group at Whiting Avenue Baptist Church in Charlotte in the early 60's. I remember his smile and quiet ways. He really was a very special person who had very adoring and loving parents. Praying for your comfort and for his grandchildren.

My condolences to all members of Clyde's family. I worked with Clyde at the city and appreciated the calm and professional way he went about his work. However, it is his personal warmth and consideration I remember the most.

We remember your wonderful family well when our Laura & your daughter played together in Charlotte. We did not know that you live so near us in Gastonia and hope we can renew our friendship. We extend our deepest sympathy to Barbara, Keri, Shannon, and family in the Homegoing of a wonderful man. God sent him to earth for a purpose & knew when his work was done. We have to thank God for the wonderful time Clyde was on earth. Joyce & Larry Huggins 704-562-7989

I had the great pleasure to work very closely with Clyde over the past year. Clyde was a great mentor to me during this time. He had a very calming presence, always patient, always kind. Clyde brought a feeling of joy and passion to the office. During our time together he always spoke so fondly of his family and how lucky he was to spend quality time with his wife, daughters, and all of his grandkids. Clyde embodied the true spirit of a public servant as his calling was to work for the happiness of others. He will truly be missed.

What a great man of God. I worked with him at the City of Charlotte and went to school with both his daughters (graduated with Shannon from HS). Mrs. Polson and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you for your great loss.
In Christ,
Steven

Clyde was the best cousin a family could have, he was so kind, he would go above and beyond to help everyone in need, in the quiet way that he did everything.
We had so many happy, memorable times with him and many, many laughs.
He was fun to be with, our holidays were always good with him, he once drove us miles, (out of his way) to visit an Aunt in Virginia, that was Clyde, so lovely.
We will miss you dear cousin, may God grant you eternal rest.
We love you.
