Betty Mel (Wallace) Cox

Betty Mel Wallace Cox, 83 of 2139 Appling Way, York died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at home.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, Clover, SC with the Rev. Tommy Wilkes officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the church.  Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery, Clover, SC.

Mrs. Cox was born May 7, 1932 to the late Ural Vennable and Agnes McCarter Wallace.

Survivors are her sons Steve Smith of York, Rick Smith of Scottsdale, AZ, Mel Smith of York, Richard Cox of Greer, SC; sister Libby Wallace; grandchildren Daniel Smith of Clover and Ryan Smith Houston, TX; several great grandchildren and great great grandchild.
