Susie (Robinson) Harris

Susie Robinson Harris, 87, passed away suddenly on January 25, 2016 in Westminster, Maryland after a short illness.

Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Emma Black Robinson and Hugh Thomas Robinson.  She was a lifelong resident of York County, SC, a retired teachers aide at Bethel Elementary School and lifelong member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Harris was pre-deceased by her husband James Munroe Harris and infant daughter Jeanne Suzanne Harris. She is survived by sons Thomas K. Harris (wife Loraine) of Manchester, MD, James E. Harris (wife Maria) of Stella, NC. Brother Lacy A. Robinson (wife Betty) and sister Patsy A. Robinson, of Clover, SC.. Granddaughter Jacqueline Harris Maier of Grafton, W. Va., grandson Gregory Thomas Harris of Tracy, CA (wife Amy), granddaughter Tammy Diane Harris of Glen Burnie, MD, and grandson Micah Edward Harris of Louisville, KY, and Sarah Harvard of Raleigh, NC. 5 great-grandsons, Keith Chapman, Nathan Chapman, Adam Harris, Harrison Maier, and Jonathan Maier. 4 great-grand-daughters Natalie Harris, Alexis Harris, Caroline Maier, and Meredith Maier.

Mrs. Harris is also survived by a daughter Judith Harris Oldridge (husband Carl), grandson Bram Reeves of Enid, OK, grandson Jerome Reeves of Harper, KS, and granddaughter Devon Reeves Myers of Seattle, WA. Also many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Hwy 557, Clover, SC. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC  29710.  Interment will be in the Church cemetery.
